Robert Butler has been a driving force in real estate development in the Mid-West for over 50 years through Brookvale Trust and Robert Bulter Group. Over this time Robert has been responsible for over 600 residential units and over 1.2m sqft of commercial development. Key areas of focus were Limerick City, Shannon, Plassey and Raheen.
A modern real estate company
Kirkland Investments Ltd., was formed in 2013 by Robert Butler's son, Rudi Butler. We recognized the need to take a modern approach to the old landlord vs occupier relationship. Our occupiers are considered partners and we want to facilitate their journey and business goals. Simply put, they do well, we do well.

Since 2013 Kirkland has built a large portfolio of commercial and residential properties in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Since acquiring these properties, they have been proactively asset managed, redeveloped and upgraded to suit modern occupational needs.
About Kirkland
Kirkland Investments Ltd., is an Irish Property Company that was formed in 2013 by Rudi Butler. Since then it has acquired a considerable amount of commercial and residential properties in Dublin, Cork and Limerick. Under Kirkland Investments ownership these have been proactively asset managed, redeveloped and upgraded.
Kirkland Developments Ltd, a subsidiary of Kirkland Investments Ltd, commenced design and development on 1BQ due for completion in March 2024.
In addition Kirkland Developments have commenced the development of a prime 62-acre site in Towlerton, Castletroy Co. Limerick. Development commenced in 2019 with the addition of key infrastructure and roads. Presently a new school for 1,100 students is under construction on a portion of the site and work has commenced on a new private hospital. In addition, the site is being master planned to provide 50,000 sqm of offices with ten separate buildings, a nursing home, residential, creche and retail
